With Black Friday little over a week away, PlayStation has announced its discount and deal plans leading up to the big sales extravaganza, which will run for a "limited time" on the PlayStation Store, at the official PlayStation Direct online store, and at select retailers worldwide - and the PS Portal is finally part of the plans.

Sony announced the company’s planned sales for this year’s holiday shopping season Tuesday, leading off with a $100 discount on the PS5 console. The PS5 Digital Edition 825GB and PS5 1TB Fortnite Flowering Chaos bundles are getting cut to $399.99 for the digital console and $499.99 for the 1TB edition. The PS5 Pro is also getting a $100 discount.

PlayStation Black Friday 2025 deals start Nov 21 with $100 off PS5 and PS VR2, a $399 Fortnite bundle, plus 33% off PlayStation Plus.

In 2024, Amazon had three consoles up to $126 off: a slim disc version, a slim digital-only model and a NBA 2K25 bundle. The discounts on the two slim models saved shoppers $76. While the PlayStation 5 console (slim) disc model was $424, instead of $500, the PlayStation 5 Digital Edition (slim) was $374, instead of $450.
