J.K. Dobbins weighed in amid comments about his status following the Denver Broncos’ win over the Kansas City Chiefs.
"The door is open for JK Dobbins to return this season — if the Broncos make it to the Super Bowl," NFL Network's Tom Pelissero tweeted on Saturday. "There was no fracture, just a small tear from the tackle, and doctors believe he could return if Denver advances that far."
Broncos defensive coordinator Vance Joseph’s group in three games against Patrick Mahomes and company the past two seasons has held the Chiefs to 1 of 10 in the red zone. That’s a big part of the reason Denver ended its long losing streak to Kansas City in 2023 and came within a blocked field goal of winning at Arrowhead Stadium last year.
