A critical Indiana Pacers starter has seen his status upgraded to available ahead of Monday night's showdown pitting one of the Eastern Conference's worst teams by record against its best, the Detroit Pistons.
The ordeal, known as the “Malice at the Palace,” is 21 years old, having taken place on Nov. 19, 2004. After Wallace shoved Artest, both team benches emptied to control the feud. The fight seemed over after just a few moments, but then Pistons fan John Green threw a beer at Artest, who was laying on the scorers table.
The Detroit Pistons remain undefeated in the month of November after Monday's home victory against the Indiana Pacers.

The setback occurred first for Cunningham during the Pistons’ November 10 win over the Washington Wizards in overtime. Cunningham checked in for 44 minutes, shooting 14-45 from the field, scoring 46 points. He logged a double-double by accounting for 11 assists and came up with five steals and two blocks on the defensive end of the floor.
The Detroit Pistons were looking tired in the fourth quarter. After three quarters of solid execution and stout defense, the shots stopped falling and the legs were looking dead on both ends of the floor.
