Kieron Walton is a 6-foot-6, 19-year-old centre who’s scored in bunches since the Jets drafted him in the sixth round in 2024. He was named the OHL’s player of the week on Oct. 27 after scoring eight points in two games. He’s a volume shooter, leading the OHL in shots and taking at least five of them in 10 of the 14 games he’s played this season.

With Shoot to Thrill by AC/DC cranking through the house sound system, the Jets acknowledged the milestone with a short tribute during a first-period stoppage in play. Scheifele also earned first-star honours. The Jets drafted the former Barrie Colts star with the seventh overall pick in the 2011 NHL draft.

The Winnipeg Jets signed captain Adam Lowry to a five-year, $25 million contract extension Wednesday. The deal starts next season.

TRANSACTIONS: The #NHLJets have activated forwards Morgan Barron and Cole Koepke from injured reserve. The Jets have also loaned forwards Nikita Chibrikov, Parker Ford, and Brad Lambert to the Manitoba Moose (AHL).
