A former Ryan's buffet and Mugshots Grill & Bar on U.S. 90 is being torn down to make way for a fast-growing national chain.

A Marion County teen who was accused of faking his kidnapping was sentenced to one year of house arrest, the state attorney's office confirmed Tuesday.
