12:32 a.m.: Law enforcement responded to a burglar alarm at Dollar General on S Main. A suspect entered the building and tried to access the cash register but appeared to have been scared away by the alarm. Nothing appeared to be taken, and the suspect was gone when police arrived. The incident is under investigation.

A man was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct-intoxication, theft, criminal damaging and menacing after a disturbance at Sheetz on Oct. 26.

Police said she allegedly retrieved a knife from the kitchen and threw it overhand at her boyfriend's head, cutting him in the face.

Police said the 27-year-old was "spitting wildly and screaming" after biting and kicking officers who recognized her from previous encounters.

Miami-Dade mayoral candidate Victor Rosario was arrested for aggravated battery on an officer and resisting arrest.
