Delta Air Lines is trimming its domestic network with the elimination of two routes. The carrier will cease flying between Atlanta and Santa Barbara, California, as well as between Salt Lake City and Fairbanks, Alaska, as first seen in Cirium schedules and later confirmed by an airline spokesperson.
The new option for Delta customers offers more legroom, dedicated overhead storage space and complimentary beverages on most flights.
Delta Air Lines will comply with an FAA order to cut flights at 40 major U.S. airports starting Friday, likely including Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson, while offering flexible options for travelers affected by the reductions.
