Former Canadian Olympic snowboarder Ryan Wedding has been indicted on multiple charges related to his alleged drug trafficking in the United States. On Wednesday, FBI director Kash Patel and Attorney General Pam Bondi announced the charges against Wedding, and the FBI is offering $15 million for information that leads to Wedding's arrest.

Authorities believe Ryan Wedding, who is considered to be one of the most powerful drug lords in the world, is currently residing in Mexico under the protection of the Sinaloa Cartel.

U.S. Attorney for the Central District of California Martin Estrada says that Wedding led an organization that routinely moves hundreds of kilos of cocaine.

A news conference is set to begin at 11 a.m., including announcements by U.S. Attorney Pam Bondi, FBI Director Kash Patel and RCMP Commissioner Mike Duhem.

Representatives from the U.S. Department of Justice, the FBI and the RCMP are expected to shed light on a case involving a man arrested in Montreal and an alleged Canadian drug lord who was once an Olympic snowboarder.
