The FAA issued a regional ground stop for Dallas Fort Worth International Airport until 11:15 a.m. CST. Any flights departing for DFW from the impacted airports will be delayed at least until the ground stop expires. The order applies to most of the southeastern and southwestern U.S., including major hubs Atlanta, Charlotte and Phoenix.
Scattered showers could continue to impact the Valley this morning and through about midday. The storm will begin pushing east with sunshine for the Phoenix Metro by the afternoon and a chilly high temperature of 65 degrees today.

DALLAS - Dallas-Fort Worth is in for some wet changes after a record-breaking hot week. The week began with a new daily record high of 87 degrees on Tuesday at DFW Airport, breaking the previous record of 83 degrees. The average high temperature for this time of year is 66 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.
